Board Actions
The Board of Education on Feb. 26:
  • Reviewed upcoming trips by the Pattonville High School Student Council and Robotics Club;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district's teaching and learning program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed an update on a personalized learning program for fourth- and fifth-grade students at Remington Traditional School.
  • Approved a list of equipment and furniture as surplus to be sold at auction on the district's GovDeals.com website;
  • Lodged for action the review of an agreement with the Pattonville Education Support Professionals (PESP); a vote is expected during the March 12 board meeting;
  • Approved revisions to Policy Procedure GDPB-R-1 (Support Staff Separation Incentive Plan (SIP));
  • Lodged for action the reviewing and revising of Policy Procedure GDBE-R-1 (Support Staff Vacations), effective July 1, 2019; a vote is expected during the March 12 board meeting;
  • Approved a request for the high school Key Club International to participate in the Missouri-Arkansas Key Club District Leadership Conference;
  • Awarded a bid for new tires, retreads and service requirements to Best One Fleet Services of St. Louis for $55,000;
  • Approved the renewal of a paint and paint supplies agreement with PPG Architectural Coatings for the period of Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 for $10,688.76;
  • Approved the renewal of an office supplies agreement with Office Essentials through June 30 for $15,709.72; and
  • Approved a contract with Sherwood Forest Camp for the 2020 fifth-grade camp for $125 per student with a $2,000 deposit (for an estimated total of $73,000).

The board approved the separation of the following certified staff at the end of the 2018-2019 school year under Policy GCQF-R (Separation Incentive Plan):
